Penn Foster Distance Learning High School

Your home study distance learning classes include the learning materials and instructional support you need to earn your High School Diploma. All learning materials are provided at no additional cost and are yours to use and keep.

Here's how it works: You sign up for your High School Diploma online. Your first course will be sent immediately after your enrollment has been accepted. Other home study classes will follow as you complete your exams, so that you will always have learning materials to work with. No GED classes, no GED practice test, no GED testing.


Penn Foster High School is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools for our high school classes and vocational-technical programs.

We are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

We have met the high standards of integrity and performance set by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), Washington, D.C., and are a fully accredited member. The DETC is a voluntary association of accredited distance learning home study schools, which was founded to promote sound educational standards and ethical business practices within the home study field.

All Penn Foster programs are affiliated with DANTES, which qualifies U.S. military personnel for tuition reimbursement.

Many Penn Foster home study, distance learning classes, are approved for U.S. Armed Forces veterans education benefits. Reservists may also qualify for veterans education benefits.

Our school is registered with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearing House.
